Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) has been identified as an effective strategy for addressing young children’s challenging behaviors and for supporting their social emotional development. IECMH consultants are critical partners within early childhood education programs and can also assist programs with topics such as trauma, crisis in communities, staff wellness, and connections with community services.
