Webinar
Across a wide variation of family structures and configurations, children's social and emotional thriving is supported when the adults responsible for their care and upbringing - their coparents, whomever they may be - communicate, cooperate and coordinate effectively. Working with coparents can be challenging, but is facilitated by the provider or interventionist's conceptual model and approach; readiness to frame the work with the family in a manner that anticipates the engagement of the child's multiple coparents; and preparedness to offer supports that the family can use to strengthen mutual engagement and teamwork, mitigate child-related conflicts, and enhance their sensitivity to children's needs.
