TTAC Webinar: Make Room for Baby: Perinatal CPP to Repair Trauma and Promote Attachment

TTAC was pleased to present Make Room for Baby: Perinatal CPP to Repair Trauma and Promote Attachment facilitated by Alicia F. Lieberman, Ph.D. on February 23, 2021, 1pm-2:30pm.

This workshop provided an overview of and an introduction to the conceptual framework and clinical implementation of Perinatal Child-Parent Psychotherapy, a trauma-informed, relationship-based treatment for expecting mothers and fathers with histories of trauma and adversity whose readiness to nurture a baby is compromised by traumatic stress and adverse life circumstances.  Clinical examples were provided to illustrate the phases of treatment and application of clinical modalities. Dr. Lieberman is co-author of a new book, Make Room for Baby: Perinatal Psychotherapy to Repair Trauma and Promote Attachment that provides a framework for clinical interventions during the perinatal period.
